Alfredo De Vido | Architects
Connecticut House - Guilford, Connecticut
The design emphasizes various geometric elements, both in its architectural form and in the use of color. The concept is continued on the interior. Here, the color is applied in layers. In on instance, a gray layered grid on a yellow background overlays the window pattern. The wall is capped by another color band encasing the high windows. The family room furniture and the banquette in the living room were designed by the architects. The forms are upholstered and soft, in contrasts to the geometry of the walls.
